Beam emitters are used to create particle effects between a source point and a target point (Target), or a source point and distance (Distance), or branching (Branch). Lightning is a good example of a beam emitter. The material set-up for lightning is shown below. The panner only moves in one direction (x-axis) because the texture used is tileable in only one direction.
For the particle system, again we will set the TypeData, only this type we will use New Beam Data.
Use taper methods to taper a beam, knowing that the array In values represent the length of the beam, and not the normal time range of the emitter.
